Eternity

Forty years after the dramatic events of "Eon," Earth, now known as Gaia, has begun to recover from the devastation of nuclear war, largely thanks to the remnants of the Thistledown asteroid-starship. Its crew had previously severed the Jarts' link to the Way—an immense, interdimensional corridor—leaving a contained universe in its wake. Now, a new generation grapples with the legacy of that conflict and the lingering mysteries of the Way. Rhita Vaskayza, driven by a deep-seated curiosity and a family history tied to the Thistledown, finds herself drawn into a dangerous quest that threatens to reawaken ancient forces. Meanwhile, physicist Konrad Korzenowski, the man tragically murdered for his role in creating the Way and subsequently resurrected, is compelled by a powerful, clandestine faction determined to reopen the interdimensional portal.
