Synopsis

Nestled in the quaint town of Bascom, North Carolina, the Waverley family has always been a little different. For generations, the women of the family have possessed peculiar magical gifts tied to their enchanted garden and the food they create from it. Claire Waverley, the current resident, can infuse emotions and futures into her catering creations, influencing the townspeople with her culinary magic. Her younger sister, Sydney, fled Bascom years ago to escape the family's strange legacy and the judgmental stares of their neighbors. However, life on the run with her young daughter, Bay, proves unsustainable, and Sydney eventually returns home, seeking refuge from an abusive past. Their reunion forces the sisters to confront not only their estranged relationship but also the powerful, sometimes overwhelming, magic that courses through their blood. As they navigate long-held secrets, budding romances, and the subtle wonders of their inherited garden, Claire and Sydney must learn to embrace their unique gifts and find a way to belong in a world that often misunderstands them, ultimately discovering the true meaning of home and sisterhood.
