Slightly Tempted

Synopsis

Lady Morgan Bedwyn, the youngest and most fiercely independent daughter of the esteemed Bedwyn family, finds her world irrevocably altered by the arrival of Gervase Ashford, the Earl of Rosthorn. A man driven by a thirst for revenge, Gervase sees in the exquisitely marriageable Morgan the perfect pawn for his calculated retribution. His initial intent is not matrimony, but a seductive plot to disgrace her, thereby striking at a family he holds responsible for his past grievances. However, a night of unexpected and shocking intimacy, sparked by a potent chemistry neither can deny, erupts into a scandal that threatens to cement Gervase's vengeful desires. Yet, as he maneuvers his elaborate scheme, Morgan's spirited nature and captivating charm begin to chip away at his coolly guarded heart. Gervase finds himself falling for the woman he set out to ruin, his desire shifting from vengeance to a desperate need to make her his wife. But Morgan, initially reluctant to yield to his advances, must navigate a passionate courtship where two wary hearts, once set on vastly different paths, are undone by the glorious, all-consuming power of love.
