Synopsis

In a peaceful Indiana town, a seemingly random mass shooting leaves five people dead. All evidence points to a former U.S. Army sniper, James Barr, who is quickly apprehended. Barr offers no defense, only a cryptic demand: 'Get Jack Reacher.' Reacher, a former military police investigator, emerges from his off-the-grid existence, compelled by a past encounter with Barr where he vowed to bury him if he ever went rogue. However, as Reacher delves into the case, the seemingly open-and-shut evidence begins to unravel. He teams up with Barr's defense attorney, Helen Rodin, who is fighting her own battles against a powerful district attorney. Together, they uncover a meticulously constructed frame-up, a conspiracy reaching far beyond a lone gunman, involving Russian mobsters and a ruthless mastermind. Reacher finds himself in a complex, high-stakes battle for truth and justice, forcing him to unleash his unique brand of uncompromising violence and intellect against formidable, hidden enemies.
