Synopsis

In the realm of the Hundred, where an uneasy peace settled after the eradication of a tainted religion and its demon court, shadows of the past refuse to die. The elite Black Wolves, once the king's most trusted guard, have been disbanded and branded with the shame of treason. Their formidable captain, Kellas, now stands at a perilous crossroads, forced to make impossible decisions that could define his legacy: whom to serve and whom to betray. Concurrently, Lady Dannarah, fiercely loyal to the late king's memory, battles against the entrenched patriarchy to claim the rightful rank and influence she has been denied. Far from the capital, three distinct young outcasts embark on their own perilous journeys, unknowingly destined to play pivotal roles in the unfolding drama. As long-dormant alliances are guardedly rekindled and the bonds of old friendships are tested to their breaking point, the very historical narratives of the Hundred come under scrutiny, threatening to unravel the fabric of society and place the kingdom's entire future in grave jeopardy. Courage, loyalty, and ambition will collide in a world where no choice is without consequence.
