The Dreaming Void

In the year 3589, fifteen centuries after humanity narrowly escaped extinction, a new and existential threat looms: the Void. This enigmatic microuniverse, situated at the heart of the galaxy, steadily expands, consuming everything in its path, its origins and purpose unknown even to the most ancient alien races. However, astrophysicist Inigo begins to dream of a paradise within the Void, a world where thoughts manifest into reality. His dreams, amplified and shared by hundreds of millions through the gaiafield, spark the 'Living Dream' religion, with Inigo as its revered prophet. When Inigo mysteriously vanishes, a new wave of dreams emerges, broadcast by an unknown 'Second Dreamer,' inspiring a massive Pilgrimage into the Void. This desperate journey risks triggering an accelerated expansion of the Void, threatening to devour countless worlds. A frantic race ensues to locate Inigo and the Second Dreamer, as factions vie to either prevent or hasten the Pilgrimage, all while an ancient entity within the Void turns its gaze outward for the very first time, hinting at revelations that could redefine reality.
