The Ghost Brigades

Humanity's expansion into space has ignited a deadly conflict, as three hostile alien races unite against the Colonial Defense Force (CDF). The architect of this perilous alliance is Charles Boutin, a brilliant but treacherous CDF scientist who vanished with their most vital secrets. Now, Boutin is dead, and the CDF's last hope rests with Jared Dirac – a super-soldier genetically engineered from Boutin’s own DNA. Created with the desperate hope that he might access Boutin's memories and uncover the traitor's master plan, Dirac finds himself isolated and disoriented when the memories refuse to surface. He is transferred to the Ghost Brigades, an elite, cloned military unit also forged from the dead, where he must confront the haunting question of his own identity. As the alien coalition plots humanity's annihilation, Dirac grapples with fragmented recollections and a growing sense of unease. Will Boutin's memories emerge in time to save humanity, or will Dirac discover a truth about his origin that makes him question which side he truly serves?
