Strange the Dreamer

Lazlo Strange, a junior librarian with an insatiable imagination, has been haunted since childhood by the forgotten city of Weep. Its very name was erased from history, leaving behind only tantalizing whispers and his own vivid dreams. When a delegation arrives from the mysterious, newly renamed city of 'Mythos' seeking help from the outside world, Lazlo, against all odds, finds himself thrust into an epic journey. He travels with a band of warriors and scientists to a place shrouded in a unique, otherworldly enigma. There, he encounters Sarai, a godspawn—one of the blue-skinned, supernatural beings who survived the war that claimed the lives of their divine parents. Sarai, who can visit the dreams of mortals, forms a forbidden connection with Lazlo, their fates intertwined in a city still reeling from past atrocities. Together, they must confront the lingering shadows of a brutal history, ancient magic, and their own burgeoning, impossible love, to either save or destroy a world that has already suffered so much.
