13 Bullets

Synopsis

In a world believing vampires are extinct since a climactic showdown in the late 1980s, state trooper Laura Caxton's late-night call to the FBI shatters this illusion. Her grim report of a suspected vampire attack finds a prepared ear in retired agent Arkeley, the very man who supposedly vanquished the last of the undead. Arkeley, burdened by a secret knowledge, knows one ancient, powerful vampire remains, biding her time in an abandoned asylum, festering with dark intent. Laura, thrust into a nightmare beyond her wildest imagination, quickly realizes she is woefully out of her depth. As she navigates this terrifying new reality with Arkeley, a seasoned but cryptic mentor, it becomes chillingly clear that the vampires seek more than just her blood. There's a specific, sinister reason for their obsession with her, a motive her enigmatic partner understands but refuses to divulge. Laura must uncover this truth before it's too late, risking her life against a foe she barely comprehends, in a desperate quest for survival and understanding.
