A River Enchanted

Jack Tamerlaine, a bard gifted (or cursed) with the ability to hear the island's spirits, is inexplicably called back to his childhood home on the magical isle of Cadence after a decade away. His return, however, is overshadowed by a grave mystery: girls from his clan are vanishing, seemingly snatched by the volatile spirits of the land and sea. To uncover the truth, Jack must reluctantly join forces with Adaira, the fierce and headstrong chieftain's daughter and his childhood rival, who commands her own unique magic over the island. As they delve into the ancient lore and dark secrets of Cadence, navigating the perilous whims of the fae-like spirits and the deep-seated rivalries between their clans, Jack and Adaira find their animosity slowly transforming into a complicated alliance. They must confront not only a looming threat to their people but also the powerful, untamed magic that binds them all to the enchanted, yet dangerous, land.
