The Preacher

In the idyllic, yet deceptively dark, fishing village of Fjällbacka, a macabre discovery sends shivers down the spines of its inhabitants. A young tourist's body is found, but the horror escalates when, beneath her, the skeletal remains of two women who vanished decades earlier are unearthed. All three bodies bear chilling similarities: a missing front tooth and a series of deep cuts, suggesting a ritualistic element to their demise. Detective Patrik Hedström, still grappling with the aftermath of his previous case, is drawn into this deeply unsettling investigation. The decades-old disappearances are linked to a charismatic, fundamentalist preacher and his family, who still hold sway over a faction of the community.
