Stripped of his magic and desperately racing against time, Richard must unravel an infernal conspiracy brewing behind the distant wall to the north, where his allies are already held captive. His only companions in this harrowing quest are his unwavering sword, his formidable intellect, and the extraordinary young healer, Samantha, who is just beginning to understand her own burgeoning powers.
