His groundbreaking first book, "The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics" (1979), won a U.S. National Book Award and popularized the connections between quantum physics and Eastern mysticism. Later, he shifted his focus to spiritual growth with "The Seat of the Soul" (1989), which became a New York Times bestseller and was championed by Oprah Winfrey.
