Ryan Holiday is an American author, marketer, and entrepreneur known for his books on Stoicism and its application to modern life, business, and personal development. Born in 1987, he famously dropped out of college at 19 to apprentice under Robert Greene, author of 'The 48 Laws of Power.' Holiday went on to serve as the Director of Marketing for American Apparel and founded Brass Check, a creative advisory firm. He has penned numerous bestsellers, including 'The Obstacle Is the Way,' 'Ego Is the Enemy,' 'Stillness Is the Key,' and 'Discipline Is Destiny.'
