Laszlo Bock is an American human resources executive and author, best known for his tenure as the Senior Vice President of People Operations at Google from 2006 to 2016. During his time at Google, he pioneered the use of data and analytics to inform HR decisions, transforming the field of human resources into a more scientific and measurable discipline. His work at Google, often referred to as 'People Operations,' emphasized employee well-being, culture, and performance through innovative practices. He is the author of the bestselling book 'Work Rules! Insights from Inside Google That Will Transform How You Live and Lead.' After leaving Google, Bock co-founded Humu, a company dedicated to using behavioral science and AI to make work better for everyone.
